Art Pollination in 2026; What now?

Written by Logan A Card Published to Blogger.com Intro I remember growing up in Calvert County, a tourist town off the Chesapeake Bay known more for its historic landmarks than anywhere else. A convenience store, Roland’s, a Wallgreens, a few fast food joints, a post office, a public library barely the size of three public school classrooms, a waterpark, a youth center called ‘the boys and girls club,’ and that was it. No bus system during the time period in 2003 to 2020 when I lived in the area. (so basically my whole life.) My family and I were lucky; we had wealth and, more relevantly, land to garden on. The garden was a fond memory of my formative years, having the wifi go out and checking if any of my neighbors had lost power, seeing my father put on his winter gear and go trudging near some bushes to pick as many berries as possible. These would be frozen for later consumption, i remember my siblings taking some of the fresh stock one time to make preserves with powdered sugar and a saucepan on the stove..(We had a lot of raspberry bushes growing up, mint plants, and a few staples in 5-gallon buckets, like cucumber and tomatoes) The part of art pollination where you get a free plant packed in a canvas bag with some dirt poured in it changes things for people, a place to teach the next generation where their food actually comes from, or to make the grocery bill less monstrous in the seasons to come. Kids these days are going to call it “Solar Punk”, I as the author, am going to call it being raised in an all-American household born to patriotic sports enthusiasts with military family legacies and blue-collar jobs whose love of duty and country falls short to family, faith in the gods and goddessed you could tolerate between your books and ears, and a job done right the first time. And that's why this art exhibit with free snapdragon plants is so important to me. This, of course designed to make you interested in the topic at hand, as our abiotic water guzzling entertainment is no longer supporting events that are meant to be child friendly described by our friend Google. “Pollination is the act of transferring pollen grains from the male anther of a flower to the female stigma. The goal of every living organism, including plants, is to create offspring for the next generation. One of the ways that plants can produce offspring is by making seeds. Seeds contain the genetic information to produce a new plant.”(U.S. Department of Agriculture, 2022) If you build it, they will come I arrived in Orlando, Florida, in August of twenty twenty five. This was anything but a field of dreams. My life kind of blew up the day after orientation week had finished. I submitted my first assignment at noon and was on the streets with everything I own in two suitcases by 6 pm. I lost the first room I ever rented in the first week to credit card debts I thought I could easily pay and not look at again. Full Sail University was going to be my fresh start. Then two weeks later, barely through my first group project carrying all of the precious notes that were trusted to me as a back log the recommendation to talk to Zebra Youth about housing went throught, and i was no longer sleeping on the streets and waking up at 4 or 5 am so i could catch the bus, shower, change clothes, eat breakfast, and head to class, so it's really a 50/50 split with anything that happens. Lots of chances to make up for one really bad day. I was doing laundry and procrastinating on a work assignment reply until I had to make dinner, then lunches for myself. There was this horrible loudspeaker, and this was forgiven quickly by the promise of free fruit and granola bars and a slam poetry reading in the park. (it was, however, all over the sidewalk. If this was such a grand and monumental event in the history of Central Florida of the united states during Donald Trump’s second term in office. Then why was it only mentioned through a few private codes and websites, then plastered around on sidewalks. It was, but since it was something you can't make money on just by mentioning briefly online. Writers like myself have more material to share until you finally hear us. Since you refuse to free my people Ice(US immigration or customs enforcement) or wait, no, sorry. I.C.E(2003-ongoing) is an acronym, or initials, depending on how you view it, that I, as well as most of Generation Z, have been reluctantly aware of since 2016. When I first saw the Prince of Egypt movie on Netflix. The media and what you talk about with other people will tell you that it's a very religious movie about faith in god. This Christ character was either busy being off somewhere doing something else within the length of the animated franchise, or so much of the funding went to accuracy based on the book, rather than cheap tech-generated swill you call ‘hey gemini,’ that it was a timeless childhood classic. I have lost appetite for people who can look at someone else suffer and not offer more than a fearful side step or ignorance. It's not just the way the city is. We had them in the country too you hear; camping equipment, seasonal work, shunned by everyone but the few charitable people and the pious, these weren't forgotten tax brackets, these were people. Not “houseless,” not “unhoused,” not “unsheltered,” just people; just the little people of a nation, deer lord, where was I going with this? It's the real reason you made this art festival, isn't it? So many enjoyable cultural events with a pay wall, and they told you to write for the exposure. With this project comes a level of responsibility to the environment around you. It's a pretty simple equation. You need honey and vinegar to stop fruit flies. You use plants from around your neighborhood to stretch tea and or make cheap salad and or tea off of concrete from common purple dead nettle, dandelion, clover, and mint plants. Store-bought herbs and herbs dried on your windowsill or in your oven are the same herb. The ecosystem is responsible. Get your money's worth out of your free events, get as much biodiversity out of your small urban landscape until the pigeons and feral cats are exhausted portions of the landscape. Take the names and new faces you see and try to talk to them after, create a plan for what to do if pollinators are destroying your or some one you know’s quality of life by taking account of allergens ensuring that rabies vaccines are administered or avoided all together by being careful which animals you let into your home or on your skin/ beind mindful of orafaces and open wounds, to stings from insects like bees and wasps as well as knowing which invasive species of vermin like snails, stray cats and dogs or rodents might be carrying infections fungal growths or viral infections as well as harmful arachnids and insects (ticks and roaches) that will ruin your quality of life and food. It is not enough to say you enjoyed an event you got to display or even just have the privilege of sitting back and enjoying the show. To fully experience something, it must come full circle. It's food, the thing people have been growing since we as a species allowed ourselves to sit and make art as a community. It only matters if it matters, and when it stops mattering to enough people, human decency becomes a luxury. This was an event that did not happen during people’s late-night shifts or early morning commutes. Not one homeless person was cast aside because the space needed to be used. For once, community making itself look put together was for everyone, not just those who could spare the time to make everyone and everything look presentable. Conclusion Things will change any day now. As people, the thing that kept us alive for millennia was the idea of memory. And I see kids playing in a nearby basketball park, I see plenty of homeless people who still need to sleep on the streets because it's the only place they can afford to have their needs met. People will, as they have for centuries, get into a large group with their slogans and their love for one another and protest some great evil. If honking your horn in traffic as you see protestors go by is not a disturbance of the peace, then neither is the march to city hall to remove fascism from your University town. Free food in schools so students can learn is not a new idea. Back home in the College of Southern Maryland there were plenty of food pantry boxes out. It was for context, those wooden things that stood inside the building rather than outside of it, for the people, not the pollinators. There were no gardens and no club involvements, but it wasnt like lack of networking or knowing the right people means you went hungry. A town where you did your work, pounded the pavement looking for jobs, and took what you could get. The central parks and third spaces were chosen for a reason. Location where people are anyway. Location in what is affordable to be reserved. Location is easy to travel to and easy to travel from. What I see with things like Art Pollination is things you once found in the farmers market. Not the plastic little odds and ends of small artists with plastic trinkets and artificial intelligence slough pile art and prompts, or people hoping to get you to sign up for a raffle and a free trip somewhere. Affordable goods, friendly people trying to earn their way in, people who love the aesthetic, and if your luck, a bargain on produce or plants (could never get the hang of growing strawberries, but that was more the Climate I grew up with than any real failing of the resources at my disposal) In order to enact change, you have to see it put forward. I like to think this was not a million-dollar project squandered on an idea for a cheap festival and with left-leaning/ liberal ideas, but the new status quo of political engagement. Did you make the art pollination event because you wanted to change the world? Or because you thought it was going to be your one chance for you to see it? Advice for Students coming into Full Sail University

Logan Card Full Sail University Creative Writing Applied Science Associates Introductions to Media and Technologies Prof. Beth Sturgeon January 25th,2026   “Several studies have been conducted to find out what specific emotions make any person want to watch and share a video, which means the video might go viral as a result”(Francios, 2020). This includes a portion of engagement strategies from week two of a month-long semester’s resource articles. (You may see this in the further reading page under the article directly.) This was the downfall of any fun to be had looking at popular memes and lost media on YouTube, best to just save the tab on ‘The engagement strategies I will be utilizing for my five piece advice column are as requested via rubric: do not take yourself too seriously, keep your message consistent, stick to a script, time management, and keep your audience wondering what will happen next. ‘We already covered that?’ But everyone knows the only way to be sociable, and a good networker is to parrot your peers, only to be ridiculed later for poor performance rather than poor attention to detail and deadlines. "It's an experience. Not just information.” (Victor, 2021) Choose at least five strategies you will apply to the designs of your Advice Media Piece that will intentionally engage your target audience. It was a good thing to butter your target audience up with a brief sociology lesson rather than getting into why someone would want to work in marketing and storytelling with this degree program. The first strategy is asking questions, the second strategy is crafting a unique concept, the third strategy is personalized communication, the fourth strategy is using social proof, and the fifth strategy is authenticity. This is boring, and I'm tired of repeatedly turning cookie-cutter work to boost the ego of an assigned target audience. You have lost your audience, I have lost my patience, and no one will read our work. (How are you vetting your sources without Pro-B.S) This is meant to be on a portfolio for future job, not something you do when you burn out on redesigning your house or even applications for your next retail job so you can afford to maybe take seven days off a year to write you next novel as your ‘big break’ Why waste time telling someone what words mean, which feelings, when you can simply tell them how you felt while writing and reviewing the media? To clarify what engagement strategies you used in your design choices. And to despise pecuniary reward, I used the previously researched articles from the above feedback. This is because it forms the basis of each lecture note, allowing time to be fully engaged and active without constantly flipping between the screen and the professor or a peer, as instructed to shut off the laptop and put the phone down. What would you rather I take notes on? My phone or the loose-leaf piece of paper you provided, then collected? How are each of the listed strategies being used in your advice media piece? This is how relevance is due to how things are marketed. Things are supposed to be short and quick; thinking about a lot of bullet points is, in fact, not going to be the best strategy. You do get time to see between the stock images and memes. But that’s because you need time to process the ideas in front of you, rather than a portion of a monologue. How are you going to make money while in college? How are you going to explain to the school board this change in your attendance? Why would each of the strategies be effective at engaging the audience? “Storytelling is proven by neuroscience to be the most effective way to grab attention, resonate with people, and sear your brand into your audience’s memory.”(Jonson,2025) Copy-pasting something from ChatGPT isn’t enough; you have to explain why this reasoning outmatched your own, without being lazy enough to just… not finish deadlines on time. The reason the call to action is a block of text with all capital letters is that Gen Z, I’m advising (the majority of new and not returning students), have an easier time with text that breaks up a monotony of pattern, the lectures in the first week, the required seminar, and the pen and paper speech. The ‘you belong here’ is said every five minutes during the first two to three weeks. Not to exaggerate, but this art “career college” school has a 100% acceptance rate and no dorm rooms or a stable housing plan other than ‘Google it’. There are no options besides quitting or a gap year to secure an actual living, not to mention. You also need questions to keep the left-brained group feeling included. Authenticity with telling them things are not going to be easy, and disaster can strike at any moment, is valuable advice. Pretty pictures of unemployment statistics for college students are going to fit well with the right-brained audience. Why should we go to this school? We need money. Why do you not recognize that your results are a lesson plan because school is your career? You can and probably should fail a student who does not pass expectation, the career you are training them for is results per week, per further review of the group, not to advertise how and when it is going to be the best choice ever to attend Full Sail University. “In the digital age personalization goes a long way in creating reader engagement. Traditional vs Freelance.

Logan Card Nicole Bird Literary Techniques and Story Development Integrative Learning Post Full Sail University So what is the difference between going freelance and going for a traditional career? Besides, of course, the ideals of getting to work for yourself instead of working in order to do a job you love. This is not always going to be the case, from proofreading the work of robots or artificial intelligence run by many companies for significantly under a substantial shift per week. You also run the risk of being unable to pay your bills on time or having to do without unless you can find a deal or run into further debt. Or you end up not being able to use the insurance and retirement fund for your future without sacrificing a few vacation days or risking your job entirely. Freelance Working for yourself, also known as being your own primary employer, and or running your own business. This involves working for a large variety of companies that are already well established. As well as working on demand for clients who are also independent. Freelance is quite the adventure for someone willing to put forth yur own hours and working hard and long for legal reasons as well as the overtime of making certain there are no scammers or even enough people. “earning money by selling your work or services to several different organizations rather than being employed by one particular organization”( reelance Adjective - Definition, Pictures, Pronunciation and Usage Notes | Oxford Advanced Learner’s Dictionary at OxfordLearnersDictionaries.com, 2025) Traditional employment Being hired or seeking employment through someone else’s efforts in freelance and or simply having it all be temporary once the contract is over, and or the project is dropped. Being employed means you do not run the risk of having your own insurance premiums. “being part of the beliefs, customs or way of life of a particular group of people, that have not changed for a long time”( Traditional Adjective - Definition, Pictures, Pronunciation and Usage Notes | Oxford Advanced Learner’s Dictionary at OxfordLearnersDictionaries.com, 2024). The pride of accomplishment, cheapened prices of production in publishing, job security, may very well be overlooked with an unrecognizable final draft, as well as even the In conclusion Both fields have much to offer people in the career and trade of writing. Often, when it comes to wanting to change or edit the career path you have chosen, there is hesitation. Especially post 2022, when already dealing with unemployment from COVID and working a multitude of seasonal to smaller shifts to pay bills. Naturally, writing has been something humans have been using since we started living in cities to keep track of resources and budget, as well as inform future generations and hopefully even historians on the day-to-day happenings of people's real lives. Within the 2020-2025 economy, a lot can change. From the changing of hands of the presidency to more recently the blatant genocide within Gaza and the surrounding countries, known as Choosing to write and be published as a profession is a murky road, much like wanting to start in corporate or retail. While traditional positions for commission may be given out for a company that does not make the work consistent. Whereas freelancing could provide a consistent income on a week-by-week basis, based on Amazon and Barnes and Noble self-publishing platforms. Artificial Intelligence for Doomscrollers

Definition “Capability of computational systems to perform tasks typically associated with human intelligence, learning, reasoning, problem solving, perception, and decision making” (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Artificial_intelligence) In order to get to Google to log in to Facebook Messenger to advertise for this construction company. (something the author does frequently). You need to borrow or have electronic equipment with a screen. This means that you, the reader, in layman’s terms, need to ask Siri, or Alexa, or any other sort of robot customer service agent for help turning the computer's Wi-Fi on and off again. The difference between an actor who is a canine and an actor who is a robot is that you need a handler for a dog to use the set properly. And for an artificial intelligence, someone who is trained in software must be on staff. Both requirements for work to make the set and stage look presentable, and without crediting anyone else outside of the fine print within the face value. In a way we have in the 21st century mastered bringing people back from the dead and seeing our fellow earthlings as people in a larger ecosystem. In this article, I aim to demystify the concept of your phone and computer having a little voice inside them, and why we cannot make the family dog talk to you like a small child at this point. The hardware used to power this software is actually not a complex thing to wrap your head around. Computer rooms of the past have been replaced with laptops and desktops, while an entire room filled with save files, as well as large hulking portions of equipment (as stated before) run energy and save key programming functions to one of several ‘wireless’ places to make our lives more convenient. This takes energy away from other pursuits like climate change and the minutiae resources of precious metals used in order to create the supercomputer and portable laptop we know and need in our ordinary lives. Recycling may not be the priority of every person who has tech or owns a tech company, but do you really need to open a new window when you lose your place in an article to scroll down or up too far, or is the ‘undo’ and ‘redo’ button right there without the hassle of copy+paste+clipboard? It's a few actions that save the time of the little people, not the mega corporations. Be polite, if you want something to be made available, ask and do the research, and when you see no opportunity, go to the highest information authority on the matter and start organizing for that group accommodation of common need. In the same way that domesticated animals can be very aggressive, the same can be said about artificial intelligence and the poor advice given to humans using those programs. It is the node's fault when a dog bites an owner, but everyone is to blame when your information gets sent off to a foreign nation server because you demanded faster services with the least amount of time spent plugging in information. Some dogs like harsh treatment across the frozen tundra, and some prompt systems are fine, creating whole essays for full credit. Forget to feed, house or bathe either one, and you become a part of the problem in the ecosystem. Research “Organizations are scrambling to take advantage of the latest AI technologies and capitalize on AI's many benefits. This rapid adoption is necessary, but adopting and maintaining AI workflows comes with challenges and risks.” (https://www.ibm.com/think/topics/artificial-intelligence) Siri was made in the year 2011 as a spin-off of Apple from another portion of technology from the 501 nonprofit called SRI International. Alexa was made in the year 2013 as Polish voice synthesizer made into The 1990s saw interactive systems of artificial intelligence built on and reconstructed from decades of 1960-1980 of tech, though systems pertaining to a twenty-word limit, solving word problems,s and playing chess. Naturally, comparisons to Greek Galatea, and the mythos of Golem in Prague. This primitive outline of a machine that thinks for itself is similar to canine-like intelligence, being used and bred to serve one and only a singular purpose. Similarly, if a cyborg is to be invented for the continuation of human adaptation. We as a society can agree that keeping animal organs to replace damaged human organs needs spiritual effects as well as biological factors to cooperate. Dogs play Fetch. AI Plays Chess. The cause and effect module is being taught to children and teenagers in Hour of Code with a thought model of if and then to go over basic coding, as well as to explain how computer systems, much like ecosystems and historical functions in linear space time! In school, the Y= MX+B is the slope-intercept model, which becomes a trick of the trade in the American common core. This is something a Calculator, a piece of hardware called a T-84, can produce and often does when one is a full-time student in a classroom. The results you get from ‘Pictomath’ are the same as if you were to use Grammarly before handing in an assignment. These are meant to help you do the work faster. You need real results on paper or a Word document before you begin compiling the information within its occupational or academic form. Pattern recognition is something computers do. A service dog follows orders because of the pattern you set for this behavior. Treating a dog like a living, breathing thing you can respond to is neuroplasticity and a form of play for people (essential for adults to recharge and avoid burnout). Convincing yourself you have a relationship with a piece of software you created and harnessed through the downloaded resources on a computer or phone is a detriment to socialization. The canine uprising is no more in our future reach than the destruction of jobs by artificial intelligence. If you need public transportation and a reliable form of vehicle for a job, tech literacy goes a long way when continuing your education after a G.E.D or high school diploma. Dangers do arise with owning an animal as much as owning an artificial tool to help you with medical issues. Doxxing and or selling your information can be a version of not knowing your way around fully training a service animal or just wanting to have your technology on you at all times(Rabies will hopefully one day have a vaccine and one day a computer can backtrack where you plagiarized and how both take emerging software and the modern society society as we know it staying in place); It takes discipline and practice hours to do both. There is no shame in needing a crutch, such as phone alarms, so why not use the dog to alert you when the doorbell rings. For context, Plagiarism and Rabies are both diseases to be quarantined that many PhD students and tech professionals are working hard to eradicate before damage becomes permanent. The arts and the sciences need each other symbolically. One to create and another to raise awareness. Personal Gain “Any artificial system that performs tasks under varying and unpredictable circumstances without significant human oversight, or that can learn from experience and improve performance when exposed to data sets. An artificial system developed in computer software, physical hardware, or other context that solves tasks requiring human-like perception, cognition, planning, learning, communication, or physical action. An artificial system designed to think or act like a human, including cognitive architectures and neural networks. A set of techniques, including machine learning, that is designed to approximate a cognitive task. An artificial system designed to act rationally, including an intelligent software agent or embodied robot that achieves goals using perception, planning, reasoning, learning, communicating, decision-making, and acting. “ (https://www.nasa.gov/what-is-artificial-intelligence/) You can basically tell Siri, Alexa, or any of our numerous robotic newfound overlords pulling themselves up by their bootstraps anything you want. And the answer will be provided. Whether or not this is safe for the office space or the company software used for the search browser or otherwise. Instead of hearing sheep, you are now hearing choice words of information to the screen. These breeds of artificial intelligence are the most popular. Such as the German Shepard and the Labrador being common breeds of dog. Training a dog in a workshop environment takes finding the free program from wherever you bought it or setting a schedule; this is no different than with a seminar at your local community center or public library about how to hone a resume, create a free Google email, or even download something personal and save it to a harddrive like Adobe or Office365. Set a time, pick a location, and stick to it!!! (The fancy stuff comes later, takes a few more prices of equipment, but an obstacle course at a public park and a free account subscription function the same way) Data science as an interdisciplinary field, has very little to do with behavioral veterinary medicine outside of this article. Valuable insight comes from Linux, Python, HTML, and many more when it comes to solutions in programming and algorithm development for information technology. All software programs, like all coding exercises, follow a model. Input data + Program => Output Data. You are adding to a nonempty document, using the Language of coding to inform of a task to be rewarded, and when you are given the results, you now have a citeable source (reward) or report to elaborate on. Penrose argument (after Roger Penrose, a mathematical physicist) POINT ONE intelligence requires understanding. POINT TWO Computers will never be able to understand POINT THREE Computers would always remain subservient to us no matter how far they advance. The Penrose argument tells us that people merely domesticated a piece of technology. Not that we made this from scratch and evolved past our nature to become universal constant constructs. It was a species in hiding. And now, instead of being wild forms of thought systems and memorization passed on through 20 years of study, its your phone in your hand. If you leave your dog in its crate all day and waking the creature once a week with no special treatment until you need it again, this is not a functional way to use a biological tool we have been honing for centuries if you do not need it, then make space for other projects. It is the same with only using artificial intelligence for research and or homework answers. Some people need to navigate, but dog parks like the cache on your phone or the cookies section of your laptop, these things need to be groomed and cleaned. Because humans and technology have evolved together. Humans Pavloved machines into cause and effect. Machines paved the way for humans to charge ports and access. Conclusion We live in the digital age. As the final generation on the alphabet before generation alpha, we will share the responsibility of the planet we call Earth. We invented magic in the prehistoric age to catalog our experiences. The next wave of mainstream services from promoting business, The revolution of technology from the wheel to the abacus to the calculator to the spinning wheel of death on your Linux screen is a cycle of modern mythos. Taking a wild animal and choosing to give it a task until you are now best friends with it is how we as people ended up with agriculture. It is the same with information systems and library science. Taking one for granted and not pruning and watering regularly will have dire consequences on both your community and even your stomach. No one has to read an article in fact but would you the reader like to know how to save money? Jacob White gave me the interview invitation for the remote transcript position on June 26th 2025.This was a portable document file to be opened and filled out within 30 minutes. This is what you should be willing to do if you want to actually function and break into the “insurance-industry”. Providing the answers all in one convenient place with no real push to have to pay for extra privileges like frequent clients and attention from paying customers after the contract is vetted. Many a webinar on a Wednesday can in fact be used to fill the void(for free). If one shoddy article online by a disgruntled writer disillusioned with the job market on Linkedin is not an amicable enough resource.I'm just trying to provide a service in due time.mostly due to the fact that most people who offer you a job interview have an idea of how many weeks it has been since you reached out and even maybe can tell you if the resume stood out of a direct position by name. Paranoia and procrastination are pricy, earnest conversation about prior commitments and what you do and do not yet have to leave in place of a paycheck is very helpful, professionally competent even. My notes once applied to their website and with no face to face interaction with a person, nor a phone call to properly ask questions from. As stated in previous portions of the article there is no one on one time from hiring manager or human resources as with my many other ways in my gapyear-college experience and part time commission job already available over facebook marketplace. I write, I do not nor will not have the merit to tell you what to do if you have the name and phone number of a scam or multi level marketing ‘Opertunity’, that's what self publishing platforms that don't cost less than 400$ upfront are for. “As an agency leader, you want the most comprehensive and reliable errors and omissions (E&O) coverage to protect your livelihood and your future. With the markets available through OIA, we can help find solutions to address your insurance coverage requirements at a competitive price. Our carriers are highly rated by A.M. Best Company, Inc. Our team has over 25 years combined insurance experience, let us help you with your insurance needs!”(“Errors and Omissions Insurance - Ohio Insurance Agents”). This is something that the travel institute was certain needed to be paid for before even trying to leave the patronage with any kind of hiring could take place. (but the classes needed to be paid for immediately or the vacation would end) “When it comes to insurance, OIA has seen it all. We pride ourselves on being the one stop shop for all OIA members and work to solve every problem or situation you may come across. That’s why we developed our resource center, a centralized location for you to find what you’re looking for. “(Resource Center: Home - Ohio Insurance Agents.” Ohio Insurance Agents) how easy would it have been if this was the first draft pick? Not looking through several websites approved by people over the phone designed to waste your time. Afterall if looking for a job is a full time job(or addition to a hopefully very lucrative writing career) And now the full process you are signing up for when you decide you would like to pay for this ‘online-on your own time and dollar certification’. This was a pleasant break from the usually boring and bleak process of convoluted logical fallacies that involve telling a nice story about how you became a millionaire on craigslist over an add in order to inform us that the limited insurance and retirement fund is funding potential incelhood instead of grandmotherly adventures. Because you can give full refunds after the first month and come from a family of people who would like to consider themselves rich enough not to work. No one wants to work for a company claiming to be a non-profit either, but the writer should get back on topic. Thats what crazy people who scam desperate crazier people for money do, not Ohio Insurance Agency. “Aggregate Information: OIA collects non-personal information about Users in order to measure traffic on the Site. This is just one of the many things I've found in my internet travels that ended up looking even halfway genuine or at least with enough sense to to make crazy promises that could potentially ruin a whole reputation upfront. Not at all similar to the agent i spoke to later in the year by adding that the job environment was unlike any other corporate environment while claiming that state of the art non-artificial intelligence would be training me later for a small fee, and giving me the disappointing answer of ‘google it’ when asking for where job training was if we really could start immediately… as soon as I had another phone call about financial information since I know nothing and this job is basically my only hope. Sometimes just reading off of a script, making handouts and going back to the rest of your tasks and giving nothing to the imagination is more professional and prosperous than actually having to charm and woo a room full of people at the drop of a hat. What is Symmetry Financial Group?

Written by Logan A Card Researched by Moth_Unknown. -Intro- “Is this a scam? Search our database to see if a similar scam has been reported. In 2021 alone, we estimate BBB Scam Tracker helped consumers avoid losing $31 million to scammers.” This is what the Better Business Bureau(BBB) calls the look up a scam program. You also have the opportunity to report new ones for yourself. “I was scammed.Tell us about it. Submit a scam report to warn others and enable BBB to work with our partners to investigate.” This “Symmetry Financial Group” currently has a whopping A minus rating on the website. Though what some of their branching agencies do with this information is a cause for much concern. The issue within this pattern of running into the exact same link over and over again for commission only roles in one where it is even sinister in intent. But the idea of paying to earn a certification because maybe there will be a job lined up for you when you finish after spending ‘X’ amount of money after ‘Y’ amount of weeks or months spent learning the trade and ‘keeping in touch’ is beyond cheap. Especially when such behavior mimics pulling a carrot stick in front of an ass’ nose to make it walk. You may be advertising and gaining revenue by leading by example but everyone else is left hungry and pacing. “Symmetry Financial Group (SFG) is the fastest-growing insurance marketing organization in the country. Our in-house expertise, knowledge, vision, and ability to provide our agents with an extremely competitive product portfolio truly help protect life's journey. SFG, based in Swannanoa, NC, provides an insurance agent with all the resources necessary to conduct business, including a contracting department to handle agent licensing issues and concerns; a service department to help with applications, status reports and commission inquiries; a lead and marketing department to help get in front of more clients; as well as a large group of service representatives to help with product information, proposals, software issues, and more. We are committed to providing life insurance coverage that allows families to live life and protect their loved ones if the unthinkable were to happen. Each of our licensed representatives are independent brokers with the resources to provide endless options, excellent coverage and competitive prices customized to families’ needs. No matter which stage of life you are in or what city you live in, Symmetry has the products and a nationwide network of agents to ensure your protection.” Similar to many companies that sell the equipment to create websites both personal and professional with or without artificial intelligence and or some other kind of prompt. This is a series of phone calls meant to sell you a product because of how much this helps someone else. Hence turning the very act of applying for a job into an advertisement. -The Collective Hub- Dan.B (did not follow up with interview with co-workers) Interview duration over the phone. Claims to be a brokerage company. Remote company based out of Idaho. These are my notes below Insurance company.Required password. Manufacturers apparently do not directly sell insurance to directly to people???? What is the return policy; within the first year, depending on whether or not commission can be paid back. Five to ten percent refund retention. Phone sales job, cold calling, no warm leads. “Government life and health”.Ten hours a week gig.Focus only on homeowner/middle to upperclass clients. Thirty five hours to twenty hours required. With Symmetry Financial Group’s two weeks of ‘ramp up’ or job training required. Term life and home life focus. Start with mortgage protection insurance. Average mortgage sale is eleven thousand dollars. The sales representative paid in three fourths of commission upfront. One fourth was installed in my bank account after. No marketing required, only an online company with a warm corporate environment? Brokerages = sell directly. No information to be provided about carriers. No artificial intelligence training, no third party products. Yes video call, yes insurance deals. The Collective Hub is an insurance company focused on providing valuable protection for our customers with quality life and health insurance at an affordable price, while also creating life-changing remote work income and opportunities for our team members.” The headquarters is located within the united states Idaho in Boise as stated before, upfront cost of classes was 130$ tests, course and background check not included discount code located on Symmetry Financial Group. Trying to make someone feel as if you are their only option for education in earnest does not work. While I find some of the details to be a bit circular and with no substance and the lack of concern over my ignorance to be… disheartening. I cannot say I was asked for my social security number, or my routing information on the sign up process or even promised a lavish vacation if I agreed to mentor under this person. Sometimes it's not a scam just because the company is new. Though trying to spend money to make money has… mixed results. -The Fine Group- Interview duration over the phone 4:00-4:45 8-1-25 Samuel.F does in fact run the company so to speak.(www.afinelegacy.com/your-new-career) When asked to go over information I yet again was pulled into the symmetry financial group information. The rest of my notes are as follows. I informed him that I was in fact a college student full time and had another job commission gig. It will shock none of the audience to realize that this is the identical deal another company as stated above offered when “no other company has this software”. Apparently you do in fact share. Other I have received the following message on thursday july 30th 2025, Over linkedin messenger “Hi Logan, This is the Lamarque Agency from Symmetry Financial Group. You applied for our open position, and we’re excited to connect! 🎉 Join our Zoom session to learn about the role, growth opportunities, and how you can build a rewarding career with us. We can’t wait to meet you! 😊 Best, Lamarque Agency Todd A. Lamarque Symmetry Financial Group” This is your company. If you want to add emojis that's legitimately your business. I will not be inviting the reader to follow me down the rabbit hole of selecting a time for an interview to be told a second interview is required and to watch the videos provided. Removing the evidence from screenshots provided we are left with what amounts to being Conclusion Commission Work no matter if it's with Metal America or another commission only role in a company is not the issue. It's more than respectable to have a career for the sake of building your own commission and choosing your own hours can give you time to customize and manufacture other products as well as give you some very needed experience in working remotely even if not at the level one deserved from a so called “part time to full time” position. Such as the writer has experienced with previous work on Outlier AI. Selling someone a ‘start your own business package’ instead of a contact/temp/part/full for I don't know actually training them for the job you applied for may not be illegal, but it is indeed stingy and ensures any demographic above the poverty and unemployment line no longer trusts you with their ard earned money as it seemed you cannot find a better way to cold call clients than preying on social media designed to help people network to get jobs. Good luck getting anywhere in life if ‘noone wants to hire you’ is how you get out of a lawsuit or restraining order in court for claiming and then failing to provide protection for failing businesses, homes and personal possessions. You are interviewing real human people since you claim to only train with real human people. Keep the compulsive lying as well as toxic positivity to yourself. While it is very common to come to the conclusion that a few companies are scams because of the similarities and the amount of places that have certifications within the same place. Startup companies are the american dream with contract only work with no real internal training or way to contact your peers who have also been hired being the American Nightmare. What most of the hesitation seems to be is that when you go to the interview process and you need to hire literally everyone and you like who you are interviewing this gives the impression (irregardless if the irrelevant double standard in this case in the work force of anyone wanting to be hired) no one wants to be scammed out of what limited funding we have. Humans are naturally paranoid creatures. This is the uncanny valley feeling and all companies cited are for insurance of all kinds so it's something that can be profitable. This is a monopoly of certification. It is up to both the value of trying to gamble money for a license and being willing to stick by a smaller business that is contributing to this uncertainty. This is why life insurance, mortgage insurance etc are so valuable in the Twenty-First century. No company, regardless of how much is demanded of you and the glowing reviews from one video call and or phone call and your personal information on an application should be charging you to work for them, actually volunteering and pretending you are a nonprofit (that was in none of the companies described above) is definitely illegal/exploitative.Shaving off costs for tuition and offering discounts that do not involve mentorship outside of checking on certifications. What Does Nook Press Do? (Acheiving a Lifelong Goal Part 2)

What does Nook Press do? Introduction For information on what to look for and to not look for on using publishing as either a full time career or a side hustle please read Part 1 (What does Kindle Direct Publishing Do?) "After a series of mergers and bankruptcies in the American bookstore industry since the 1990s, Barnes & Noble is the United States' largest bookstore chain and the only national chain.[7][8] Previously, Barnes & Noble operated the chain of small B. Dalton Bookseller stores in malls until they announced the liquidation of the chain in 2010. The company was also one of the nation's largest managers of college textbook stores located on or near many college campuses when that division was spun off as a separate public company called Barnes & Noble Education in 2015."(Wikipedia Contributors. “Barnes & Noble.” Wikipedia, Wikimedia Foundation, 11 Mar. 2019, en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barnes_%26_Noble.) In prelude to a witty retort on late stage capitalism as well as the Rat race of hustle culture and the frustration of shrinking retirement rates, the growing age of said retirement among larger companies due to stingy investors and cfo employed folk. That is freelance the millennial trend of enforcing that younger generations are bankrolling a pizza and losing rent agreements is the exact same thing as avocado toast being one of the reasons millennials according to Gen X and baby boomers cannot fathom affording an unrented house; grow up and get some original writing material please. "Barnes and Noble is the company that owns Nook. Think of a family tree — Barnes and Noble is the parent, Nook Press is the child. While Barnes and Noble is the major company with multiple focuses, Nook Press is a subsidiary company that has one primary specialty: self-publishing services. If you hear the term “Barnes and Noble Press” used, keep in mind that this is synonymous with Nook Press."(Worsham Kesley,https://www.writtenwordmedia.com/,2-2-21) My Profile "In March 2016, Barnes & Noble announced it would close the Nook App Store and Nook Video and in the UK close the Nook Store on March 15.The company continues to sell e-books as well as digital magazines and newspapers in the US."(Wikipedia Contributors. “Barnes & Noble.” Wikipedia, Wikimedia Foundation, 11 Mar. 2019, en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barnes_%26_Noble) "One of the key things we wanted NOOK Press to do was demystify and simplify the eBook creation process. By including an editing tool set in the platform, authors can easily upload a word document, edit that document and quickly publish to ePub without any technical skill sets."(Guest Contributor. “NOOK Press: Self-Publishing Made Simple - Publishing Perspectives.” Publishing Perspectives, 23 Sept. 2014, publishingperspectives.com/2014/09/nook-press-self-publishing-made-simple/.) this is where things start to get relevent. How much do you owe barnes and noble while they distribute your products?($0.0) Sales Reports "Barnes & Noble began in 1886 as a bookstore called Arthur Hinds & Company, located at 4 Cooper Institute in the Cooper Union Building in New York City.In the fall of 1886, Gilbert Clifford Noble from Westfield, Massachusetts, who had graduated from Harvard College earlier that year,[13] was hired to work there as a clerk. In 1894, Noble was made a partner, and the name of the shop was changed to Hinds & Noble.[15]"(Wikipedia Contributors. “Barnes & Noble.” Wikipedia, Wikimedia Foundation, 11 Mar. 2019, en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barnes_%26_Noble.) You can safely say that the vetting process for your book/short story/graphic novel/portfolio as well as the competitor for "The Nook Press website will accept jpg or png files that are between 5KB and 2MB. The site recommends that your cover has a height and width of at least 1400 pixels. Also, be sure that you hold the rights to any image you upload."(Worsham Kesley,https://www.writtenwordmedia.com/,2-2-21) Author Resources "NOOK Press is for everyone that wants to sell their content. Digital publishers, agents, media outlets, and more, utilize NOOK Press, alongside independent authors. NOOK Press not only offers competitive sales terms, it provides all who publish a quick way to distribute content and find avid readers. Self-publishing through NOOK Press also provides a venue for short content, prequels, novellas and long-form journalism – content formats that don’t always find a home on the publishing lists of traditional book publishing."(Guest Contributor. “NOOK Press: Self-Publishing Made Simple - Publishing Perspectives.” Publishing Perspectives, 23 Sept. 2014, publishingperspectives.com/2014/09/nook-press-self-publishing-made-simple/.) You have the option with this platform unlike the previous self published article "Does Kindle Direct Publishing Do Anything? Achieving A Lifelong Goal Part One of Two" to market your work for free. This ad nauseum means zero percent to your personal account as then an equivalent nothing in royalties. instead of the kindle direct modal of .99 cents then running the numbers. "Just because you chose to self-publish, doesn’t mean you have to do everything on your own. Receive help from industry experts to help your manuscript come to life. Explore our self-publishing service partners for editing, book cover design, book marketing, author website creation, and more. We work on a variety of different eBooks and print book genres such as science-fiction, fantasy, mystery, romance, memoirs, self-help books, and poetry. In addition to self-publishing service partners, we leverage our online NOOK platform as well as our 600+ Barnes & Noble store locations to reach readers across the country." (https://press.barnesandnoble.com/self-publishing-services, Accessed July 9th 2025) This is helpful with not only more and more companies requiring an understanding of how everyone is creatively using artificial intelligence but to a larger number of what can be assumed to be plagiarism checkers, spelling correctors, and even checking basic facts like what article you have published before in order to connect back to the overall theme. As technology grows we as humanity are responsible for that technology grow with our own alchemical and theoretical internet monstrosities. freedom to imagine is not often putting pen to paper, having to draw out and explain images from a set of words already described or mental images used for reference is only half the battle. Getting your stuff out there will always be more important than trying to make the final draft pretty or smooth in its transition. "If you’re looking to publish your own book for the first time, it can be overwhelming. However, with the right resources and tips, self-publishing a book can be relatively stress-free and affordable.Let’s cover some self-publishing basics. Some of the main things that become your responsibility with self-publishing include editing, proofreading, book cover design, and book marketing. These tasks are usually handled by the publisher in traditional publishing, but in self-publishing they become the author’s responsibility. B&N Press has partnered with top companies in the industry to make this process easy and streamlined. Check out these self-publishing services to get you started!" (https://press.barnesandnoble.com/author-tools-and-tips, accessed July 9th 2025). Creative Limitations exist everywhere, with whether or not a project gets 'greenlit' to a handful of individuals starting to upload on a regular basis. When the content is difficult to find no-one is going to give that project the time of day. This is also true with having things open to the public to begin with.Suddenly having things removed because you cannot categorize something precisely how the company wants it is in fact a strategy, but not a very productive one if you would like to make something your own and only on a singular platform to sell at your rates. My Account "These tools also provide authors an easy way to edit and update their eBook as new editions, get marketing information and address other content needs as they develop. The author doesn’t have to re-upload files, they can just add changes on the site and repost." (Guest Contributor. “NOOK Press: Self-Publishing Made Simple - Publishing Perspectives.” Publishing Perspectives, 23 Sept. 2014, publishingperspectives.com/2014/09/nook-press-self-publishing-made-simple/.) For a flat rate as described above in the previous section seventy percent is all the royalties you are bestowed as the author. From the standard going rate on a dollar minimum you get seventy cents for every thirty the company makes for your online book pricings. The default of 9.99 in total and giving the author 6.99 is a standard deal many at nook press choose out of practicality and simplicity. This is a fifty five percent royalty for all printed books. In accordance to see parentheses ('how did you even find the google link for these numbers') with the Royalty and payment terms https://press.barnesandnoble.com/, retail price (see details).
