What does Ohio Insurance Agents have going on?

“The Ohio Insurance Agents Association (OIA) is a trade association powered by nearly 1,000 independent insurance agencies across the state. We are committed to supporting and empowering our members by advocating for their public policy priorities, providing exclusive market access opportunities, hosting education and networking events, and sharing valuable industry insights and resources. At OIA, our focus is on you—the independent insurance agent. As your advocate, trusted advisor, and strategic partner, we are dedicated to your success and growth.”(“Ohio Insurance Agents”) You do not have to read an article. No one has to read an article in fact but would you the reader like to know how to save money? Jacob White gave me the interview invitation for the remote transcript position on June 26th 2025.This was a portable document file to be opened and filled out within 30 minutes. Once I was apt to respond to this adobe acrobat required pdf file it was then changed to a 40 minute time span..,how generous! And within the course of this article I will try to persuade the audience to one simple point, the writer is not always right about everything and you should learn to think for yourself, reader. As of an entirely separate date I have neither been informed that the interview window has passed and my application will be placed into storage nor will I be attempting to re-apply. This is what you should be willing to do if you want to actually function and break into the “insurance-industry”. Providing the answers all in one convenient place with no real push to have to pay for extra privileges like frequent clients and attention from paying customers after the contract is vetted. Many a webinar on a Wednesday can in fact be used to fill the void(for free). If one shoddy article online by a disgruntled writer disillusioned with the job market on Linkedin is not an amicable enough resource.I'm just trying to provide a service in due time.mostly due to the fact that most people who offer you a job interview have an idea of how many weeks it has been since you reached out and even maybe can tell you if the resume stood out of a direct position by name. Paranoia and procrastination are pricy, earnest conversation about prior commitments and what you do and do not yet have to leave in place of a paycheck is very helpful, professionally competent even. My notes once applied to their website and with no face to face interaction with a person, nor a phone call to properly ask questions from. As stated in previous portions of the article there is no one on one time from hiring manager or human resources as with my many other ways in my gapyear-college experience and part time commission job already available over facebook marketplace. I write, I do not nor will not have the merit to tell you what to do if you have the name and phone number of a scam or multi level marketing ‘Opertunity’, that's what self publishing platforms that don't cost less than 400$ upfront are for. “As an agency leader, you want the most comprehensive and reliable errors and omissions (E&O) coverage to protect your livelihood and your future. With the markets available through OIA, we can help find solutions to address your insurance coverage requirements at a competitive price. Our carriers are highly rated by A.M. Best Company, Inc. Our team has over 25 years combined insurance experience, let us help you with your insurance needs!”(“Errors and Omissions Insurance - Ohio Insurance Agents”). This is something that the travel institute was certain needed to be paid for before even trying to leave the patronage with any kind of hiring could take place. (but the classes needed to be paid for immediately or the vacation would end) “When it comes to insurance, OIA has seen it all. We pride ourselves on being the one stop shop for all OIA members and work to solve every problem or situation you may come across. That’s why we developed our resource center, a centralized location for you to find what you’re looking for. “(Resource Center: Home - Ohio Insurance Agents.” Ohio Insurance Agents) how easy would it have been if this was the first draft pick? Not looking through several websites approved by people over the phone designed to waste your time. Afterall if looking for a job is a full time job(or addition to a hopefully very lucrative writing career) And now the full process you are signing up for when you decide you would like to pay for this ‘online-on your own time and dollar certification’. This was a pleasant break from the usually boring and bleak process of convoluted logical fallacies that involve telling a nice story about how you became a millionaire on craigslist over an add in order to inform us that the limited insurance and retirement fund is funding potential incelhood instead of grandmotherly adventures. Because you can give full refunds after the first month and come from a family of people who would like to consider themselves rich enough not to work. No one wants to work for a company claiming to be a non-profit either, but the writer should get back on topic. Thats what crazy people who scam desperate crazier people for money do, not Ohio Insurance Agency. “Aggregate Information: OIA collects non-personal information about Users in order to measure traffic on the Site. This is just one of the many things I've found in my internet travels that ended up looking even halfway genuine or at least with enough sense to to make crazy promises that could potentially ruin a whole reputation upfront. Not at all similar to the agent i spoke to later in the year by adding that the job environment was unlike any other corporate environment while claiming that state of the art non-artificial intelligence would be training me later for a small fee, and giving me the disappointing answer of ‘google it’ when asking for where job training was if we really could start immediately… as soon as I had another phone call about financial information since I know nothing and this job is basically my only hope. Sometimes just reading off of a script, making handouts and going back to the rest of your tasks and giving nothing to the imagination is more professional and prosperous than actually having to charm and woo a room full of people at the drop of a hat. What is Symmetry Financial Group?

Written by Logan A Card Researched by Moth_Unknown. -Intro- “Is this a scam? Search our database to see if a similar scam has been reported. In 2021 alone, we estimate BBB Scam Tracker helped consumers avoid losing $31 million to scammers.” This is what the Better Business Bureau(BBB) calls the look up a scam program. You also have the opportunity to report new ones for yourself. “I was scammed.Tell us about it. Submit a scam report to warn others and enable BBB to work with our partners to investigate.” This “Symmetry Financial Group” currently has a whopping A minus rating on the website. Though what some of their branching agencies do with this information is a cause for much concern. The issue within this pattern of running into the exact same link over and over again for commission only roles in one where it is even sinister in intent. But the idea of paying to earn a certification because maybe there will be a job lined up for you when you finish after spending ‘X’ amount of money after ‘Y’ amount of weeks or months spent learning the trade and ‘keeping in touch’ is beyond cheap. Especially when such behavior mimics pulling a carrot stick in front of an ass’ nose to make it walk. You may be advertising and gaining revenue by leading by example but everyone else is left hungry and pacing. “Symmetry Financial Group (SFG) is the fastest-growing insurance marketing organization in the country. Our in-house expertise, knowledge, vision, and ability to provide our agents with an extremely competitive product portfolio truly help protect life's journey. SFG, based in Swannanoa, NC, provides an insurance agent with all the resources necessary to conduct business, including a contracting department to handle agent licensing issues and concerns; a service department to help with applications, status reports and commission inquiries; a lead and marketing department to help get in front of more clients; as well as a large group of service representatives to help with product information, proposals, software issues, and more. We are committed to providing life insurance coverage that allows families to live life and protect their loved ones if the unthinkable were to happen. Each of our licensed representatives are independent brokers with the resources to provide endless options, excellent coverage and competitive prices customized to families’ needs. No matter which stage of life you are in or what city you live in, Symmetry has the products and a nationwide network of agents to ensure your protection.” Similar to many companies that sell the equipment to create websites both personal and professional with or without artificial intelligence and or some other kind of prompt. This is a series of phone calls meant to sell you a product because of how much this helps someone else. Hence turning the very act of applying for a job into an advertisement. -The Collective Hub- Dan.B (did not follow up with interview with co-workers) Interview duration over the phone. Claims to be a brokerage company. Remote company based out of Idaho. These are my notes below Insurance company.Required password. Manufacturers apparently do not directly sell insurance to directly to people???? What is the return policy; within the first year, depending on whether or not commission can be paid back. Five to ten percent refund retention. Phone sales job, cold calling, no warm leads. “Government life and health”.Ten hours a week gig.Focus only on homeowner/middle to upperclass clients. Thirty five hours to twenty hours required. With Symmetry Financial Group’s two weeks of ‘ramp up’ or job training required. Term life and home life focus. Start with mortgage protection insurance. Average mortgage sale is eleven thousand dollars. The sales representative paid in three fourths of commission upfront. One fourth was installed in my bank account after. No marketing required, only an online company with a warm corporate environment? Brokerages = sell directly. No information to be provided about carriers. No artificial intelligence training, no third party products. Yes video call, yes insurance deals. The Collective Hub is an insurance company focused on providing valuable protection for our customers with quality life and health insurance at an affordable price, while also creating life-changing remote work income and opportunities for our team members.” The headquarters is located within the united states Idaho in Boise as stated before, upfront cost of classes was 130$ tests, course and background check not included discount code located on Symmetry Financial Group. Trying to make someone feel as if you are their only option for education in earnest does not work. While I find some of the details to be a bit circular and with no substance and the lack of concern over my ignorance to be… disheartening. I cannot say I was asked for my social security number, or my routing information on the sign up process or even promised a lavish vacation if I agreed to mentor under this person. Sometimes it's not a scam just because the company is new. Though trying to spend money to make money has… mixed results. -The Fine Group- Interview duration over the phone 4:00-4:45 8-1-25 Samuel.F does in fact run the company so to speak.(www.afinelegacy.com/your-new-career) When asked to go over information I yet again was pulled into the symmetry financial group information. The rest of my notes are as follows. I informed him that I was in fact a college student full time and had another job commission gig. It will shock none of the audience to realize that this is the identical deal another company as stated above offered when “no other company has this software”. Apparently you do in fact share. Other I have received the following message on thursday july 30th 2025, Over linkedin messenger “Hi Logan, This is the Lamarque Agency from Symmetry Financial Group. We can’t wait to meet you! 😊 Best, Lamarque Agency Todd A. Lamarque Symmetry Financial Group” This is your company. If you want to add emojis that's legitimately your business. I will not be inviting the reader to follow me down the rabbit hole of selecting a time for an interview to be told a second interview is required and to watch the videos provided. Removing the evidence from screenshots provided we are left with what amounts to being Conclusion Commission Work no matter if it's with Metal America or another commission only role in a company is not the issue. It's more than respectable to have a career for the sake of building your own commission and choosing your own hours can give you time to customize and manufacture other products as well as give you some very needed experience in working remotely even if not at the level one deserved from a so called “part time to full time” position. Such as the writer has experienced with previous work on Outlier AI. Selling someone a ‘start your own business package’ instead of a contact/temp/part/full for I don't know actually training them for the job you applied for may not be illegal, but it is indeed stingy and ensures any demographic above the poverty and unemployment line no longer trusts you with their ard earned money as it seemed you cannot find a better way to cold call clients than preying on social media designed to help people network to get jobs. Good luck getting anywhere in life if ‘noone wants to hire you’ is how you get out of a lawsuit or restraining order in court for claiming and then failing to provide protection for failing businesses, homes and personal possessions. You are interviewing real human people since you claim to only train with real human people. Keep the compulsive lying as well as toxic positivity to yourself. While it is very common to come to the conclusion that a few companies are scams because of the similarities and the amount of places that have certifications within the same place. Startup companies are the american dream with contract only work with no real internal training or way to contact your peers who have also been hired being the American Nightmare. What most of the hesitation seems to be is that when you go to the interview process and you need to hire literally everyone and you like who you are interviewing this gives the impression (irregardless if the irrelevant double standard in this case in the work force of anyone wanting to be hired) no one wants to be scammed out of what limited funding we have. Humans are naturally paranoid creatures. This is the uncanny valley feeling and all companies cited are for insurance of all kinds so it's something that can be profitable. This is a monopoly of certification. It is up to both the value of trying to gamble money for a license and being willing to stick by a smaller business that is contributing to this uncertainty. This is why life insurance, mortgage insurance etc are so valuable in the Twenty-First century. No company, regardless of how much is demanded of you and the glowing reviews from one video call and or phone call and your personal information on an application should be charging you to work for them, actually volunteering and pretending you are a nonprofit (that was in none of the companies described above) is definitely illegal/exploitative.Shaving off costs for tuition and offering discounts that do not involve mentorship outside of checking on certifications.
